Since 2014 a deregulation of the Swedish zoning laws allow property owners to build an additional house of 25 sq m without any building permit. We at the Common Office present our proposal consisting of five modules each 5 sq m big. The different modules accommodate different functions. They can be used as bedrooms, saunas, kitchens, libraries etc. Together the five modules create a common exterior space. The common space can be used as a dining area or for other social activities. The modules are covered in a steel mesh in with creepers growing on it. The vegetation unites five the modules into a single structure.
